At 39 feet, “Moon River” may not be strictly a Tahitiana, which are 32-feet in length.  According to the information “Moon River” is a “Tahiti Tahitiana type”.  However, take a look at the photos and you’ll see she’s a fine gaff-rigged double-ender sailboat and looks very much like a Tahitiana.  Those extra 7 feet may [...]

Always great to hear news of another Tahitiana sailboat.  My thanks to David Greewood for keepig me updated. He reports: “The boat is in Greece, at present the North Meltemi wind is blowing hard on the nose so I am stuck in Porto Rafti on my way to Skyros Island which is North of here!

Unfortunately I don’t have a name for this Tahitiana that was for sale in Faro, Portugal in September 2007. She was built in 1982 and was listed for sale for Euros 46,824  ( £ 32,250). See the photo gallery.
